Homemade Sweet N Tangy BBQ Sauce (Keto/Low Carb SugarFree)


1 medium yellow onion

3 cloves fresh garlic

1 cup sugar free tomato sauce

1 can no sugar added tomato paste

1/2 cup Apple Cider Vinegar

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

3 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce

1/2 cup Golden Lakanto Sweetener

1 teaspoon cumin

1/2 teaspoon instant espresso

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon pink Himalayan salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper


Peel and slice the yellow onion in half. Pulse the onion, galice, and 3 chipotle peppers in a food processor until they are smooth.

Add them into a medium sized pot. Add in all remaining ingredients and whisk to stir well. Cook over medium low heat for approximately 20 minutes. Enjoy!

Makes approximately 12 oz of sauce

Best stored in a glass jar, refrigerated up to 7 days
