This waffle base is perfect for any day of the week. I use this base as my "prep" waffle for my family. I usually double it and freeze them in freezer bags. They reheat perfectly in your toaster! You can add in additional items to this, such as blueberries, chocolate chips, or sub the vanilla extract for something fun like almond extract!
Tip-- if you add blueberries or chocolate chips do it after you put the batter in the waffle maker and then close the lid.
Ingredients:
1 cup almond flour
1/4 cup coconut flour
1/4 cup Pyure sweetener (or stevia of your choice)
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/4 cup 5% greek yogurt unsweetened
4 eggs, whisked
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions:
Preheat your waffle maker and grease with cooking spray.
Mix all ingredients together by hand throughly. Spoon into waffle maker and cook as directed.
Using a dash mini waffle maker this recipe yields 10 waffles.
