Bacon Charred Brussel Sprouts


24 fresh brussel sprouts

3 tablespoons bacon grease

3 pieces cooked bacon

1/2 tablespoon pink himalayan salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder


Preheat oven to 375 degrees Farenheigt, Wash and pat dry the fresh brussels. Trim off the stems and slice them in half lengthwise.

Line a standard size sheet pan with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, add in the brussels and melted bacon grease. Toss them evenly and add in the seasonings and crumble the 3 pieces of cooked bacon. Mix very well. Lay them facing downward on the sheet pan. Bake for 25 minutes. Remove and flip over. Return to oven for 5 additional minutes.

Best enjoyed hot!

Serves approximately 6 guests
