The Health Benefits of Eating Nose To Tail- And An Easier Way to Supplement Organs!

The building blocks of a well rounded diet definitely includes eating nose to tail, but I have to admit I am one that struggles when it comes to eating organ meat. I've definitely gotten better, but having the option to take the desiccated supplements has been such an AMAZING option!

For over three years now I've been supplementing with encapsulated beef liver from Ancestral Supplements. There is absolutely NO taste. I was always borderline anemic and found out how detrimental iron supplementation can be and how beef liver is so much better for you to consume and I've had amazing iron levels ever since! I can tell when I don't take them because my sleep isn't as good and my mood isn't as perky!

Everyone in our family is supplementing with a different organ for various needs.

My son is using the beef brain on the daily for over a year to help him with focus. If you've read some of my journey with him he was diagnosed with multiple "ADHD"/ "sensory overload" and even "Aspergers" at one point. I opted to steer away from conventional medicine and prescriptions with him and always have done a natural approach with change of diet and natural supplements and he has had amazing success!

My teen daughter is on the beef liver which is a a great starter for women overall, especially early teen years of menstruating! She started it up the second round of her cycle and seeing her personal moods improve has been incredible. Her cramps have been very minimal too, which I definitely think proper iron supplementation thru a natural source has been her saving grace.

My toddlers take the beef organ mixed in food (usually a soup) and they take it with no complaints!

My husband is actually taking a few right now to help his nerve damage from a botched surgery back in December in combination of the beef prostate, beef organs, and beef bone marrow with some additional herbs and he is seeing incredible results.

Even my dad's little dog is on the beef liver! She is 12 years old and was refusing to eat any food. We started putting the beef liver supplement in some bone broth and giving it to her with a syringe and now she's back to eating on her own and being the perky little aggressive chihuahua we've always known her to be.

Consuming organs is nothing new. We have just been modernized and consume more "convenient" cuts of meat. Native Americans and early ancestral healers knew that eating the organs from a healthy animal would strengthen and support the health of the corresponding organ of the individual. For instance, the traditional way of treating a person with a weak heart was to feed the person the heart of a healthy animal. Similarly, eating the kidneys of a healthy animal was believed to support urinary ailments and overall kidney health... Pancreas was fed to people with digestive problems... and spleen was fed to people with immune and blood deficiencies.

Organs were a staple of our early ancestors' diets as the ultimate superfood, for good reason. It turns out, this nourishing tradition is backed by science... "Radioisotope labeling studies in animals have shown conclusively that, when eaten, organs and glands selectively travel to the corresponding organs and glands in high concentrations. This research, done at the University of Scotland in Edinburgh, lends credence to the ancient practice of eating animal organs to help ensure health in one’s corresponding organs..." - Dr. Ron Schmid, ND

Our early ancestors knew this, which is why their traditional diets included the frequent and nourishing consumption of nose-to-tail organs.

If you're not sure where to start, I recommend the liver and beef organs for sure! There's a slew of amazing natural supplements to pick from. Or feel free to email me>> mydomesticatedbitofchaos@gmail.com
